Superfood Recipes are a hot topic on my mind right now. We are, after all, doing a lot more cooking and creating at home this year. So, while we are clearly loading up on making treats and doing all of the bread maker recipes possible, I am developing and gathering some superfood recipes too.

Superfoods have been written about at length for years now. These nutrient rich foods, like kale, berries and nuts can provide great physical health benefits for your body. They can also be extremely valuable for good brain health. Recently, I have been reading a lot more about good fat and also about a supplement called choline.

Many parents with kids who have special needs, especially those in our FASD parenting groups are talking about choline right now. It naturally occurs in a lot of foods like salmon and nuts and duck eggs of all things. Also, a recent study has been done indicating it has benefits for those who have FASD (fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.)

My Easy Kale Chips – by Thrifty Mommas Tips

I almost forgot I had these on my site until I started hunting down more superfood recipes. These are so easy to make. Here’s what I do. If I buy a fresh batch of kale I use about half for my Italian Wedding Soup above and then I use the rest for crunchy kale chips.
