Yarn Supplies:
Base and walls- Worsted Weight Grey or Brown
Used: Walnut, 1 skein, I Love This Yarn Stonewashed worstedweight, 100% acrylic, (5oz / 252yds)
Door- Worsted Weight Brown
Used: Brown, 1.5 oz, I Love This Yarn worsted weight, 100%acrylic, (7oz/ 355yds)
Roof- Dark Green or Brown
Used: Dark Olive, 3 oz, I Love This Yarn worsted weight, 100%acrylic, (7oz/ 355yds)
Ironwork- DK Black
Used: Scheepjes Colour Crafter, ScrapAmount, 100% acrylic, (100g/ 300m)
Vine, Pumpkins, Mushrooms- DK Scraps
Non-Yarn Supplies:
#7/4.5mm hook
F/3.75mm hook
11ā x 14ā sheet of plastic canvas
Tiny bit of polyester fiberfill for the pumpkins at the end
Gauge: Worsted Weight- #7 hook- 16sc x 17rows = 4ā x4ā/10cm x 10cm
DK Weight- F hook- 18sc x 22rows =4ā x 4ā/10cm x 10cm
Finished Sizes:
Base- 6-1/2ā to 7ā
Walls- 3-1/2ā W x 5ā H
Overall Hut Height with Roof- approx. 12ā

-Join after each round when working in the round.
-When working in the round- Ch1 to start nextround unless otherwise noted
Special Abbreviations:
Extended Single Crochet (Exsc)- insert the hook in the space indicated, yo, pull up a loop, yo,pull through just one loop, yo and pull through both loops on the hook.
Slanted Cluster (Slcl)- [yo, insert hook around stemof previous dc from right to left, yo, pull loop through] 3x in the same place,yo, pull through first 6 loops on hook, yo, pull through both loops on the hook.
3rd Loop (3LO)- The horizontal bar acrossthe back of the half double crochet stitch created by the yo.
(##) at the end of a row/round indicates stitch countfor that row/round.
US Terms:

Base: Make2
With Grey or Brown and #7/4.5mm hook
Round 1- MR, 6sc in ring, join (see notes). (6 sc)
Round 2- 2sc in each sc around. (12 sc)
Round 3- (sc in 1, inc) around. (18 sc)
Round 4- (sc in 2, inc) around. (24 sc)
Round 5- (sc in 3, inc) around. (30 sc)
Round 6- (sc in 4, inc) around. (36 sc)
Round 7- (sc in 5, inc) around. (42 sc)
Round 8- (sc in 6, inc) around. (48 sc)
Round 9- (sc in 7, inc) around. (54 sc)

Cut and weave ends. Lay one piece on your plastic canvas andtrace around the circle. Cut the circle out of the plastic canvas, making sureto trim the edges so they fit in between your pieces. (Pictures below)

Put the wrong sides of the base pieces together, workingthrough both thicknesses and starting in the first sc of a repeat, (sc in 12sc, 2sc in next 2sc) around- when you are about halfway around, slide yourplastic canvas piece in between and finish crocheting the pieces together.
The side facing you will be the RS of the work. Mark thisside for later assembly.
Your finished base pieces should be about 6-1/2" across from flat side to flat side.
Use a pen or a marker to mark the shape of the base on the plastic canvas.
Cut your plastic canvas about the same size as the base.
You will need to further trim the plastic canvas piece to fit inside the borders of the base. You will be putting your two pieces together and sliding the plastic canvas in between, so this piece needs to be slightly smaller than your base pieces.
Hold your base pieces wrong sides together and begin crocheting through both thicknesses in order to create a pocket to slide the plastic canvas into.
Slide your plastic canvas in between the two base pieces about two sides before you finish.
Once your plastic is completely in between your base pieces, finish off the last two sides.
Finish crocheting your edges together and join with the first sc.The side facing you is the RS of your work. Place a stitch marker as an indicator for later.
Cut your yarn and weave in your ends.
Set this aside and move on to your Wall pieces.
